Jill E. Jourdan, Esq

Jill was born and raised in Vermont. Prior to attending law school, she received an Associate of Arts Degree from Community College of Vermont. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Norwich University. Jill also attended Woodbury College prior to law school and received her Paralegal Certificate. She graduated from New England School of Law in Boston and was admitted to practice in Vermont in 2002. Since licensure, she worked at Martin and Associates for five years in the general practice of law. And before forming Northeast Kingdom Law, she worked for Willey and Power, LLC for seven years focusing more on criminal, family, and civil law. Jill is admitted to practice law in Federal Court.

Zachery D. Weight, Esq

Zach is new to the Northeast Kingdom. He lived in Burlington for a few years, as well as South Royalton. Zach is a 2012 graduate of Vermont Law School and licensed to practice in Vermont. He attended Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire, majoring in Political Science and American History. Prior to that, Zach spent almost a decade living throughout Japan and Europe, as his parents were in the Navy. Zach is a big New England sports fan and spends most of his free time outdoors with his dog.

Jan Adams, Office Manager

Jan has worked with Jill Jourdan for the past 3 ½ years. Jan’s experience ranges from legal assistant and bookkeeper for 6 years at a real estate law firm to being an administrative assistant and a small business owner. Jan has lived in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont with her husband and two children for the past 22 years.

Sally Jourdan, Legal Assistant

Sally was the administrative assistant at the University of Vermont Student Government Association for 30 years prior to retiring in 2001 to work with her husband’s home inspection business (Jourdan Building Inspection Services). Sally also worked as a tax examiner for the State of Vermont Department of Taxes in Montpelier, Vermont from 2010 to 2013, when she and her husband sold their home in Williamstown, Vermont and relocated to Newport, Vermont. Sally continues to work with her husband and Jourdan Building Inspection Services, covering the Northern Vermont and Connecticut Valley areas. She began working with Northeast Kingdom Law in January of 2014.
